About Us

BB Capital Management is a specialist discretionary fund manager, providing active, risk tailored portfolios. Our portfolio range has been created for investors who want more than passive funds, tracking a market.

The aim of the managed portfolio is to add another level of experience and expertise to the investment wrapper by using our active management of funds.

BB Capital Management uses industry knowledge and investment experience, aiming to outperform passive funds and also reduce losses during periods of market negativity.

The BB Capital Management portfolio range is used by multiple financial planners and advisers to add value and reduce volatility in their client’s investment portfolio. The main reason is that most investors don’t have the time to personally manage their portfolios by reviewing market conditions and the various factors affecting their investments.

Our managed portfolios aim to provide support in this area, leaving investors with the confidence of knowing that an experienced fund manager is constantly monitoring their investments and making changes where and when required.

Discretionary Investment Management

Discretionary Investment Management is a form of professional investment management that invests on behalf of their clients through a variety of assets. The term "discretionary" refers to the fact that investment decisions are made at the investment manager's judgement. The major aim of the services offered is to outperform benchmarks listed in the mandate; this is called providing alpha.

Our Founder

Barry Brennan
Barry has 40 years experience in Financial Services. During that time he has held a number of
senior roles within Banking organisations at Director level. As a recognised expert in Fraud
Prevention, Barry has served on the boards of various industry bodies in the UK and across Europe, dealing with legislation and regulations to determine strategies and policies.
He is an expert in the recently enacted General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) having successfully implemented the new framework in his last role.

His goal now is to use this 40 years of experience, along with his hand-picked team, to provide another option to investors with BB Capital Management that aims to truly benefit them.
